O Atelier do Lago nasce em 2021 fruto de um projeto ambicioso pelas mãos dos Arquitetos Fernando Coelho e Tatiana Gonçalves.

Fundado na Quinta do Lago, o atelier distingue-se pela aposta na proximidade constante com o cliente e modernização das técnicas de arquitetura através da utilização do software BIM – Building Informatiom Modelling.

Atelier do Lago was born in 2021 by the ambitious hands of the Architects Fernando Coelho and Tatiana Gonçalves.

Founded in Quinta do Lago, the atelier exceeds in working side-by-side with the clients during every phase of the project and constantly invests in modernizing its architectural techniques through the use of the BIM software – Building Information Modelling.

Processo

Com base num diálogo permanente entre o cliente e a equipa que desenvolve o projeto, o processo irá evoluindo de forma que o resultado final – a obra concluída – satisfaça todos os intervenientes e corresponda às expetativas do promotor. Este processo varia conforme o âmbito e a complexidade da intervenção, mas desenrola-se sempre em diversas fases.

Based on a permanent dialog between the client and the team developing the project, the process will evolve so that the end result - the completed work - satisfies all those involved and meets the expectations of the promoter. This process varies according to the scope and complexity of the intervention, but always takes place in several phases.

Preliminary Study

Os primeiros contatos destinam-se a definir, em conjunto, qual será exatamente a pretensão e analisar a sua viabilidade. Segue-se o desenvolvimento do conceito preliminar do projeto, assente já em informações concretas sobre o sítio, as características do local e a legislação em vigor aplicável.

The first contacts are aimed at defining exactly what the project will be and analyzing its feasibility. This is followed by the development of a preliminary project concept, based on concrete information about the site, the characteristics of the location and the applicable legislation.

Licenciamento

Licensing

Preparação do processo formal para aprovação na Câmara Municipal e outras entidades cujo parecer seja vinculativo para a obtenção da licença de construção e, na fase final do processo, da autorização de utilização. Em simultâneo com arquitetura, ou posteriormente, serão apresentados os projetos das especialidades legalmente exigidos.

Preparation of the formal process for approval by the City Council and other bodies whose opinion is binding in order to obtain the building permit and, at the final stage of the process, the use authorization. At the same time as the architecture, or later, the legally required specialty projects will be submitted.

Elaboração do projeto de forma pormenorizada, contendo toda a informação necessária à correta execução da obra, incluindo definição de materiais, pormenores construtivos e mapa de quantidades. Esta fase do projecto é uma ferramenta essencial para obter orçamentos fidedignos junto dos empreiteiros candidatos a executar a obra.

Drawing up the project in detail, containing all the information necessary for the correct execution of the work, including the definition of materials, construction details and a bill of quantities. This phase of the project is an essential tool for obtaining reliable quotes from the contractors applying to carry out the work.

Fase de materialização do trabalho até então desenvolvido. Acompanhar a execução da obra permite à equipa projetista contribuir ativamente para que o resultado físico corresponda efetivamente ao que foi projetado, além de favorecer o esclarecimento de dúvidas junto do cliente e orientação em possíveis situações imprevistas.

Phase of materialization of the work carried out so far. Monitoring the execution of the work allows the design team to actively contribute to ensuring that the physical result actually corresponds to what was designed, as well as helping to clarify doubts with the client and providing guidance in possible unforeseen situations.
